Who Makes the Xterra TR 150?
The Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill is produced by Dyaco International. Dyaco was founded in 1990 in Taiwan. Over the past 29 years, they have established a global distribution network and established a reputation as a premium supplier of quality commercial and home use fitness equipment.

The Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill features a large 5- inch LCD display to provide the workout feedback that you need to keep you motivated while exercising. You get a running readout of your speed, distance covered, total time, calories burned, and pulse. Quick touch speed buttons allow you to make instant changes. The monitor also features an integrated bookrack and accessory holder.
The Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill is a compact treadmill that is ideal for restricted living spaces such as apartments. It’s dimensions in terms of length, width and height are 63.4 x 28.75 x 51.4 inches. However, when folded for storage these reduce to 28.5 x 28.75 x 61 inches.
The manufacturer of this machine recommends that you provide for at least two feet of clear space on either side of the treadmill, with three feet behind and one foot at the front.
The Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill weighs 108lbs which is relatively heavy. However, it is fitted with wheels for ease of transportation.
The machine folds easily and can be conveniently rolled under a bed or in a closet when not being used. An easy fold pop-pin provides a one-step fold down.
You get three incline settings on this treadmill. Even though the settings are manual, that’s pretty good for a budget model treadmill. You won’t be able to change incline settings as you’re exercising, but setting the angle before you start your workout is a pretty simple process.
The Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill provides you with a 16-inch wide by 50-inch long running deck. While not as wide as you’d ideally want, this is still a good size for a budget treadmill.
The 2.25 HP motor that powers the Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill delivers an impressive level of grunt. It allows for a maximum speed of 10 miles per hour and runs smoothly and quietly.
The running deck of the Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill is fitted with the XterraSoft cushioned deck system to provide a low impact foot strike on every stride. Hand sensor pulse monitors allow you to get a real-time reading of your training heart rate while you’re exercising.
The Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill provides you with 12 pre-set exercise programs to keep you motivated. These programs have been designed by personal trainers to target specific training goals such as fat burn, heart rate, and cardio fitness.
Max User Weight
The maximum user weight of the Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill is 250 pounds. That’s pretty good for a budget treadmill, being about 30 pounds higher than you find on most competitors in this price range.
What’s Not So Good
The Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill’s top speed of 10 miles per hour will be fine for light to moderate use. However, people who are looking for a treadmill with which they can push themselves to a fast jog or sprint will be disappointed with this unit. The width of the treadmill’s running deck at 16 inches will also be restrictive for people who are six feet or over, making it difficult for them to get in a natural running position.
The price on this treadmill is also higher than other folding treadmills in the budget price range but with its features and great user reviews this could be a great option.
One final thing that we were not overly impressed with is the limited motor warranty. Your get just 12-months cover on the 2.25 HP motor. We would have liked to have seen this at least doubled to at least two years.
The Xterra Fitness TR150 Folding treadmill is an impressive looking budget foldable. It provides you with a reasonably powerful motor that is smooth and quiet. The cushioned deck, 12 inbuilt workout programs, space saver design, and 3 position manual incline also impress.
