Large Running Belt
The running belt on the Sole TT9 is a generous 22” x 60”. This is larger than most home use treadmills, providing plenty of room to run naturally for even the tallest of users.
High-Quality Treadbelt
Sole has gone to great lengths to ensure that the running belt on the Sole TT9 provides minimal joint pressure. The belt consists of four layers that are each individually lubricated. The deck is wax coated to ensure that the belt runs smoothly. The belt runs over large 3-inch rollers.
The CushionFlex belt cushioning system provides superior shock absorption while also reducing the noise level that is generated from this treadmill.
Power Incline / Decline
The Sole TT9 is equipped with an impressive 15 levels of power incline and 6 levels of decline. This provides you with the ability to dramatically enhance the intensity of your workout at the simple touch of a button. It’s a great feature for those who are looking to ramp up the intensity with regular bouts of HIIT training.
Warranty
The Sole TT9 is covered by a generous warranty/guarantee. Here is what they offer:
- Frame: Lifetime
- Motor: Lifetime residential, 5 years light commercial
- Deck: Lifetime residential, 5 years light commercial
- Electronics: 6 years residential, 3 years light commercial
- Labor: 3 years residential, 1 year light commercial
They also offer a no-questions-asked 30-day money-back guarantee.
4.0 CHP Motor
The Sole TT9 is powered by a 4.0 CHP motor. This provides you with a lot of power to deliver smooth and quiet operation. The speed range is between 0.5 and 12 miles per hour. The speed can be increased by increments of 0.1 km per hour.
Console
The Sole TT9 comes with a multifunction console. It features a 10-inch LCD screen with LED backlighting. The console provides you with an ongoing readout of your time, distance, calories burned, heart rate, and pace. The speed and distance values are given in both metric and imperial units.
There is also an integrated message board that provides you with tips and guidance as you progress through your workout – a very nice touch!
Solid Frame
The Sole TT9 has a commercial-grade steel frame. This makes it extremely sturdy and durable. However, it does make the treadmill very heavy. It weighs in at close to four hundred pounds.
Max User Weight
The Sole TT9 provides you with an impressive max user weight at 450 pounds. That is about as good you will get being up to commercial standard.
Extras
The Sole TT9 provides you with built-in speakers, cooling fans, bottle holders, storage compartments, an integrated tablet holder and a USB charging port.
What’s Not So Good
The Sole TT9 is a top of the line treadmill and so it is reasonable to expect that it will deliver more than less expensive models, such as Ancheer treadmills. That’s why we were a little let down at the lack of wireless heart rate strap with this unit. True, the Sole TT9 is wired to take a telemetry strap, but at this price, we would expect one to be included.
The Sole TT9 is also a very heavy treadmill. In addition, it is not foldable. So, when you find a spot for it, you will not want to move it. This is a larger than normal treadmill with a substantial footprint. So, you will have to measure your available space before committing. The footprint of the TT9 is 36” x 84” x 58”.
Final Thoughts
The Sole TT9 provides you with plenty of power, functionality, and innovation. We love the 15 levels of incline, the touchscreen workout access, and the powerful motor. However, this is an expensive treadmill. If you can afford the best, then this is the machine for. But if you don’t need quite as high a weight capacity (450 lbs), you might want to consider the Sole TT8, also from Sole.
